The poor man's AUDI R8 and/or Exotic Car

The beauty of having a mid-engine VW GTI MK6 conversion means you can have something super exotic, fun, easy to maintain, very track oriented, and collectible.
So far, every car show I have taken my midengine MK6 has been a complete success. You just don't see cars like this everyday. Makes all those hundreds of hours worth it now. The uniqueness of this car makes it exotic.
How could you not have fun with a midengine hatch back? This is the closest you will ever get to owning and driving a GROUP B rally car like the Peugeot 205, Renault R5, Lancia Stratos, etc.
Parts are always  readily available for modern cars. Try finding a basic part for an actual exotic GROUP B street legal rally car. You can even go to Pep-Boys need be.
Normal VW GOLFs have a weight balance of about 60-63% front weight, where as my conversion is about 45% front and 55% rear weight balance. This results in better traction, acceleration, and braking...not to mention the tire life is increased. Midengined cars in general make very good track vehicles...hence the Porsche Cayman, Lotus Elise, MR2Spyders, etc.
How many custom cars have you seen where the customer is selling their vehicle for half what they spent? Unfortunately, most projects and custom cars are just not thought thru well enough, especially when it comes to its resale value.
Simply put, I feel my VW MID-ENGINE GTI MK6 is the best solution for someone who either loves the Audi R8 or the GROUP B 80s ERA rally cars, and just can't either afford or maintain one.
